I have followed Lou Holtz's coaching career for awhile now and I really like his style.  This is a man that teaches integrity, and lives what he teaches.  He has an awesome track record as a coach and is a very sought after motivational speaker.  Seems like everyone wants to hear what this very smart man has to say...

  • He who complains about how the ball bounces is likely the one who dropped it.
  • You never get ahead of anyone as long as you try to get even with him. If you burn your neighbor's house down, it doesn't make your place look better.
  • Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.
  • Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
